You'll Need....
  • Some timber (If you go to the timber section in Bunnings (or other hardware stores) there is usually an off-cuts section where you can find super cheap timber)
  • Sandpaper
  • Permanent Marker
  • Paint
  • Brushes
  • PVA glue
  • Confetti, glitter, any bits and bobs you have lying around

If you can't get your hands on a suitable off-cut of timber in time, try use a small art canvas instead.

Instructions
  1. Make sure timber is cut into appropriate sized pieces, around 20cm long, but you can do whatever size you fancy.
  2. Sand the edges of the timber. Make sure you put something protective on the edges of the tables to stop it getting scratches and consider wearing protective gloves and eye wear if necessary.
  3. Write "Happy Fathers Day" with your permanent marker
  4. Draw a picture of you with your dad or family using your paints.
  5. Decorate the top edge of your board with PVA and your confetti, glitter or sparkly bits (whatever you have on hand!)
  6. Leave them to dry
